Random Acts

Fractured Films have produced several RANDOM ACTS short films for Channel 4. These visual, often experimental, films were part of the ‘First Acts’ strand in which the first films of 16-24 year old directors were made.

The Kaleidoscope Boy (not released yet)

This highly visual short film is about a small boy who retreats into the splendour of his inner world of phosphenes – the light show on the inside of the eyelids that results from the application of pressure.

It has just been confirmed by Channel 4 as selected for inclusion on their Random Acts website with possible broadcast to follow.
